One of the most common requests we receive over the years is to simplify data analysis in CA PPM. Reviewing actuals for a specific resource in CA PPM can sometimes require extensive clicks, that wastes too much time, especially if the level of detail the user wants is high.
One way of simplifying this and reducing click thru rates is by using our custom CA PPM Daily Timesheet portlet. It allows users to filter and review timesheet posted hours on a daily basis by resource, project, and task.

The portlet has been tested in CA PPM Versions: 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3, and it implements the following requirements that works great for any PMO department:
- Only brings posted hours for Projects and Tasks
- Compatible with Oracle and MSSQL
- Uses timeslice DAILYRESOURCETIMECURVE which is OOB
- Restricts a user to only view resources for which it has permissions
- It includes all projects
- Date is a required filter, by default it restricts to current week
- Uses CA PPM OOB lookups
- Portlet and SQL code: itroi_daily_timesheet
