Clarity: OWB Resource Task ETC value is higher than total ETC in Task Properties or total ETC forecasted across the timescale

Description:

In Open Workbench, the total amount of ETC for a Resource on a task is higher than the total ETC forecasted hours across the timescale or shown on the Task Properties for the assigned Resource.

Solution:
The Total amount of ETC is showing in ‘Hours’. The Timescale and Task Properties values are showing in’Days’.

In Open Workbench >Tools > Options > Defaults > Check the ‘Default Units’ setting. If it is set to ‘Hours’ change it to ‘Days’.
